Christchurch to Queenstown

Day 1- Depart Christchurch and enjoy the scenic drive to picturesque Queenstown. Nestled on the shores of the stunning Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is one of the most popular holiday destinations in New Zealand and world renown as an Adventure Capital.

Queenstown to Queenstown Dorm Bed Accommodation

Day 1 - Once you have arrived in Queenstown check in to our property located on 49 Shotover Street (a short 3 minute walk from our bus stop). Chill out at our onsite bar or head out for a night of good food, drink and fun!

Queenstown to Milford Sound Daytrip (including 100 minute boat trip)

Day 2 – Your Milford Sound day trip sets off from Queenstown in the morning and begins with a scenic drive through the beautiful Fiordland on board a luxury coach. Highlights on this drive include Lake Te Anau, Homer Tunnel and Knobs Flat, ongoing commentary by our expert guide and numerous photo stops along the way. At Milford Sound you embark on an unforgettable scenic cruise. Get ready to see some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world including glacier-carved rock walls, lush rainforests, waterfalls and of course the spectacular Mitre Peak which rises a stunning 1,692 meters above the sea as you glide the length of the fiords. The coach returns to Queenstown at the end of the cruise.

Day 2 – After your day of exploring New Zealand’s natural wonders, return to the hostel and unwind with a refreshing drink at our onsite bar before settling in for the night.

Queenstown to Christchurch

Day 3 – Rise and shine for your bus trip back to Christchurch. Renown for its vast number of parks and public gardens, Christchurch is appropriately known as “The Garden City". The city is currently undergoing significant rebuilding due to damage caused by the earthquakes it experienced in 2008. The newly designed Cashel Mall, is one such rebuild effort which is made entirely of shipping containers and most certainly worth a visit!
