Sales Representative – Travel

A natural networker and extravert, you’d be proud to represent a vibrant NZ tourism and travel business with a great story to tell. You will have the flexibility of working 50% in our Auckland head office and 50% on the road travelling all over New Zealand. Your mission will be to extend our offering of accommodation and activities throughout the country. This will be done by building relationships and signing up partners to grow our accommodation and activities network.
Thrive working with a small team in a relaxed friendly culture where we work hard, real hard but value each other and celebrate success. Provided with direction of new locations sought you’ll carry out end-to-end sales which includes;
- researching potential alliances
- writing proposals
- setting up meetings
- negotiating deals
You’ll have a schmoozing budget to support entertainment of potential suppliers and be out of Auckland as often as in.
You easily connect with others and can build long-term relationships in the tight-knit travel community, you’re comfortable with contracts and negotiations. Not scared to pick up the phone you’re a confident, go-getter and are commercially savvy to assess standards and viability of properties and activities. A fantastic communicator, you’ll keep the greater team informed of your actions and maintain robust records. Energetic and enthusiastic you’ll be doing your bit to share NZ with the world.
