Terms and Condition for Orientation 2010

Nakedbus.com – New Zealand’s lowest cost long distance bus fares online. You can travel anywhere in New Zealand from $1 when you book early with nakedbus.com (the earlier you book the less you pay).

Terms and conditions

  1. The promoter is Nakedbus NZ Ltd (nakedbus.com or Promoter), PO Box 8850, Symonds Street, Auckland, 1150.
  2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to New Zealand residents who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) or nakedbus.com and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
  4. The promotion commences at 12:00am on 19 February 2010 and closes at 23:59 on 30 March, 2010.
  5. To enter the promotion, participants must become a nakedbus.com fan on facebook and tag themselves on one of the photos in the photo album “WIN $200 for 2010 Orientation”. Participants can enter as many times as they like
  6. Unconfirmed fan submission or tags or entries not complying with these terms and conditions, are invalid. Entries received after 30 March, 2010 are invalid.
  7. The winning entrant will be notified by email before 16 April, 2010.
  8. This offer is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
  9. The offer consists of the following components: four $200 cash prize.
    Total prize component is valued at NZ$800.
  10. The promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances at it deem fit and the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed misdirected or illegible submissions.
  12. The promoter is responsible for the any bank transaction fee for delivering the prize.
  13. The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  14. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
  15. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason including unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable by law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
  16. In order for you to participate in this promotion nakedbus.com will collect your facebook account. The purpose for collecting this information is to enable nakedbus.com to administer the promotion. By entering this promotion you agree that the Promoter may use the aggregate information collected from the competition for related research and marketing purposes. The winner in this competition agrees that their identity may be disclosed in the promotional material. The Promoter will not use your personal information for any other purposes.

More Buses between Dunedin and Christchurch

Due to popular demand, Nakedbus.com now has additional services between Dunedin and Christchurch during the University Holidays.

The new service will depart:

  • 8am from Dunedin to Christchurch
  • 2pm from Christchurch to Dunedin

on Fridays and Sundays until 31st January 2010 and service all the towns and cities in between. Just a reminder that nakedbus.com provides pick up right outside both Otago and Canterbury Universities’ door steps; saves you the hassle of carrying your luggage and walking all the way into the city centre.

As always our fare starts from $1 + booking fee so hurry to book your home coming trip.�

Ferry Auckland to Coromandel NEW!

Nakedbus.com now has a ferry service that takes you from Auckland to Coromandel in two hours.

Winter Timetable:
Tuesday & Sunday

  • Leaves Auckland at 9am
  • Leaves Coromandel at 4.30pm

Friday

  • Leaves Auckland at 6pm
  • Leaves Coromandel at 8pm

The nakedbus ferry links Auckland and Coromandel (in both directions) on Tuesday, Fridays and Sundays. More days will be added as the weather gets warmer.

Our times are perfect for a weekend away or just a day trip. Just imagine the relaxing feeling as you the ocean breeze wafts over you as you cruise away from the hustle and bustle life of Auckland. A perfect weekend escape in the midst of winter (oh, and if you live in the Coromandel Peninsula, this could be a great way to get to Auckland).

West coast – South Island

Cheap buses are coming to the West Coast of the South Island this Summer. Naked Bus are operating a service from Nelson down the West Coast to Punakaiki, Westport, Greymouth (connecting with the train) to Fox Glacier and Franz Josef. All at our low fares.

Plus we are also running a service from Queenstown to Fox Glacier and Franz Josef. Fares start at $1.

Both services run in both directions.
