Can I change to a date that is not available on the booking form?
Monday, July 16th, 2007What if I can’t make the trip?
Monday, July 16th, 2007If you cannot make the trip you have booked, we are unable to refund your money. This is because we need our buses to be as full as possible to keep our fares as low as they are. However if you know that you need to change your travel plans, you can change your booking.
What if the bus is delayed?
Monday, July 16th, 2007We will do our best to avoid delays by designing our timetables as carefully as possible taking into account known problems. At times there will be unavoidable delays due to traffic, roads being closed due to crashes etc. In these circumstances, please bear with us, and we will get you where you are going as quickly as possible.
Why can’t I can’t find my travel day?
Saturday, July 14th, 2007Usually seats for the buses are released 6 weeks in advance at midnight every night. If the date you’re looking for is within 6 weeks we may be revising bus timetables. New bus trips will be up on the site as soon as possible. If the bus trip does not appear in the search results it is not available at this time.
Why is my journey not offered?
Saturday, July 14th, 2007This may happen for three reasons.
Firstly nakedbus.com® may not run the trip you want. Check our route map for where we go.
Secondly check our bus Timetables section to ensure the journey operates on the date you have chosen.
Alternatively it may simply be that the journey has sold out. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
Why can’t I find the destination I want?
Saturday, July 14th, 2007If the destination you want does not appear, nakedbus.com® does not run a bus service to that location from your departure point. You may have to make an overnight stop.
Why doesn’t the booking form work?
Saturday, July 14th, 2007If you are having problems with the booking form please follow these instructions:
Problem: Can’t enter a “travel to” destination
Solution:
1. upgrade your browser to the latest version (we support IE6 +, Firefox 1.5+, and recent versions of Safari).
2. enable javascript.
You can enable javascript as follows:
- Firefox 1.xx: Tools -> Options -> Web Features : “Enable JavaScript”
- Firefox 2.xx: Tools -> Options -> Content : “Enable JavaScript”
- Internet Explorer: Tools -> Internet Options… -> Security -> Custom Level… : “Scripting” : “Active scripting” : “Enable”
Problem: Booking form keeps logging out when I try to search
Solution: Please ensure that you have cookies ENABLED. This website uses cookies to store details of the trip(s) you are searching for. At the very least you’ll need to allow cookies for the domains ibooking.nakedbus.com and nakedbus.com.
To enable cookies:
- in Firefox go to Tools -> Privacy, and tick “Accept cookies from sites”
- in Internet Explorer go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy and set the slider on “medium”
You should then be able to use the booking form.
Problem: My travel date is not available
Solution: We release seats for a limited set of future dates (the dates that bookings are available vary from time to time). Please come back later and you will be able to book (sometimes we reduce this time period if we are changing timetables).
Please note that some services do not run every day. See nakedbus.com/bus-timetables for more details.
If you are having other booking problems, please contact us.
Problem: My destination does not show up in the “travel to” box
Solution: nakedbus.com does not have a same day service between these two locations. You will have to make and overnight stop.
Please note that we do not sell ferry tickets so you will have to make your own arrangements for the ferry between Picton and Wellington
