Ever thought “There must be better things to do this weekend than sitting at home watching endless soap operas.” Now Nakedbus has the solution. Cruise in the beautiful harbour and swim with the dolphins in the warm water in the Bay of Islands.
Join us for the ultimate dolphin eco-adventure. If you are looking for a little bit more adventure why not try jumping in the water and swim alongside the dolphins*. The warm water of the Bay of Islands is the perfect place to give this a try plus we will supply you with snorkels, masks, fins and wetsuits. Swim with them and see the abundance of marine mammals and wildlife the Bay of Islands is famous for. You will be travelling on a modern high speed luxury boat that is designed specifically for dolphin and whale watching and offers easy access to the water, hot showers and a complimentary hot beverage.
Please remember that dolphins are wild animals. For this reason we cannot guarantee swimming with the dolphins on every trip, however we will do our best to provide a great experience.
Please note the crew will advise whether it is safe to swim with the dolphins on the day. Once we find a pod of dolphins Department of Conservation regulations will determine whether a swim is possible. Swimming is optional and you need to be a confident swimmer. Should the opportunity to swim arise there is an additional $15 swim fee to be paid direct to the provider on the day in cash.
