Our experienced and knowledgeable crew will welcome you at the wharf in Paihia. There, they will take you on a journey that explores around the Bay’s 144 islands. The warm water in the Bay of Islands attracts lots of marine mammals such as dolphins and whales throughout the year. The crew will be actively looking out for them to ensure you don’t miss out on the action. Then the boat will cruise pass the Cape Brett Lighthouse before reaching the amazing Hole in the Rock and her guardian.
There may be an opportunity to swim with the dolphins on this trip, however this will be subject to conditions on the day. For those wishing to swim a $15 fee is payable on the day in cash onboard. Swim is conditional on DOC regulations and at skippers discretion.
Commentary will be provided throughout the trip where you will find interesting historical and cultural facts that are significant to the Bay of Islands.
