Not only that, but bigger buses to cope with the demand! Yes that’s right, over Easter many of our buses were full, so we are putting bigger buses on this time, plus running daily services each way right throughout the school holidays.
So whether you are visiting friends or family, or having a well deserved break (with or without the kids) there’s no excuse not to, with prices starting at $1 (plus 70c booking fee).
These extra services also serve Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, and Palmerston North, plus other destinations along the way.
And remember on this route* you can book as little as 15 minutes before the departure time, thanks to our mobile eWaybill system which delivers bookings to the driver en route. This is just another way that we are working to improve service while keeping our costs down – your bookings are sent automatically to the bus so you can be sure the driver will know about you before you get there!
*only on Auckland to Wellington & Auckland to Napier/Hastings at the moment, but will be extended soon!
